Fluffdom Express: Bummas {CLOSED}

If you are using cloth diapers already, then making the switch from disposable wipes to cloth wipes shouldn’t be a major thing. But, ask me! It took me at least 5 weeks before making the decision to use cloth wipes. In the end, it didn’t prove to be as hard as I was assuming it would be! What wasn’t quite as hard, was deciding which cloth wipes to use. Bummas are made of 100% Cotton - Woven Velour Terry Cloth that is milled in the USA! So very soft, these wipes have proven to be the best wipes to use on J’s sensitive skin.

Bummas are multi-use cloths. We’ve used them instead of gauze for cleaning around his ileostomy and around his g-tube. I’ve found that Bummas work much better than paper towels for cleaning the end of his ileostomy bag when we empty it.

The nurses at the hospital where J had his surgery in June, loved how soft the Bummas were and the different colored stitching around the edges.

When deciding how many wipes you need, you’ll need to take how many times you change your child’s diaper and multiple by two (three, if your child has loose stools frequently) and then multiple by how many days between washing. For us, this means at least 50 Bummas. These are so nice to have when dealing with a horrible diaper rash! The times we have run out of them and used washcloths instead, he very quickly develops a diaper rash.
